What we collect
Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use this solely to respond to you about our wines and allocations. Submissions are delivered to us by email and stored securely on this website.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location by country/city, device type, how you found us). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics sets cookies for this purpose.
Spam protection. Our enquiry form uses an invisible anti-spam field to distinguish people from automated abuse. It collects no additional information about you and involves no third-party service.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not send marketing to you unless you have asked to join our mailing list, and you may unsubscribe at any time. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 18.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to correspond with you and for reasonable business records thereafter. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights under POPIA
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to processing, by emailing gareth@cvin.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za.
